Cross server premade, the solution

To offset negative experience from premades, let players queue up together from any server strictly to PVP (no phase stuff).

Though a large cross server pool offsets situations like a 6 hour AV queue, servers which would have these problems receive a new one. Being myself from one of these servers I can attest that getting a premade together on either faction is not only a rare occurrence, but one that detracts from the overall experience of being able to experience fair PVP.

So we go up against these full on PVP server players (or larger pop PVE) that group together vs our group of mixed servers in a non cohesive fashion. It’s not pleasant.

You could say well that’s not vanilla. I think that seeing someone in a BG, and actually being able to say ‘hey you’re cool do you wanna group up sometime and do more PVP?’ to be more of a representative experience to the original. Fact is we get sent into the meat grinder on a daily basis plagued to never make connections and be doomed to a limited pool. Please consider letting us create battleground only cross server groups, thank you.

so your solution to fix premades is to allow people to premade across multiple servers?

A) Mate we in phase 5 out of 6 phases. They not gonna change the way queueing or bgs work at this point… move on

B) instead of cross preming, just remove cross faction bgs. It was not a thing in vanilla (it was… for the very very end before TBC came). 80-90% of vanilla was bg queues contained on the servers, and arguably this was 10 times better than the cross realm BS, which is part of the reason why the Prem meta is as bad as it is.

C) Thank Blizzard for not caring about the game enough to understand what they could have changed (while not breaking the #no changes meta) and what they did not change, despite being warned (e.g. not enough servers will effect the playerbase negatively, layering will… mega servers will)
