After Mists of Pandaria, my wife and I took a break from wow. I came back for classic, but mostly life got in the way. Then we heard Mists was coming back! The best times we ever had in WoW were with our guild in MoP. We have talked about them since we stopped playing, and wondered how they were all doing. So we both decided, lets give Remix a go and relive some old glory days. We made new characters and started playing. Had a blast, and one day I get a random guild invite. I accepted because, you can always Gquit later right? I had no intention of raiding or anything, but what could it hurt. Joined, didn’t say anything, never even looked at the guild interface. Until today. A character in the guild got an achievment, a character who’s name I immediately recognized…from the server we used to play on…Some how, a decade, a marriage, 3 moves and a family later, I got a random invite to a guild with the folks I used to raid with in it. I am not sure what the odds are, but I had to make a post thanking Blizz for facilitating that reunion. I am still grinning after talking with them on Discord for a while, just at the sheer number of stars that had to align for that random invite to hit me .
