moving LFR from 25man to 40man will get in more DPS. that will make them pop faster. Will drop the time in half.

No. It wouldnt be hampered, because if gold wasnt transferrable (it likely is since it uses a version of the retail engine), they would make it transferrable along with items exactly how they did the first time
In general, what I said was irrelevant is the fact that they werent talking about LFR despite both of you bringing it up just to whine and cry about it. Again, cross realm raiding and LFR are two different systems developed years apart. They want the legacy portion of the current system in the game so its easier to find groups for content the main portion of the playerbase that still plays cataclysm doesnt make groups for anymore. They are not, in any way, shape, or form, talking about LFR or any loot system, especially one that imposes arbitrary barriers to entry.
Also, are you and Burned the same person on two different forum characters? Cause like, no two trolls are alike and who I’m talking to is clearly marked, yet both of you get confused. Its really not my fault nor is it my problem that you both have similar gear in your thumbnails. If you are the same person, it’s weird that you cant recognize your own character.
No one is attempting to do anything, what you said was wrong as it pertains to the thread, period.
Personal loot was introduced in Mists of Pandaria for (LFR only) and then in Legion, the personal loot system was fully implemented.
We don’t need or want cross-realm raiding; let’s not forget the multitude of issues we encountered with Ragnaros and Quel’Thalas players. It’s simply a bad idea, arguably even worse than LFR.

I had been experimenting with some different avatars, using a Male Dwarf Shaman, and a Male Night Elf Druid for a couple of months, prior to switching back to Male Troll very recently, and almost immediately noticing tones to responses to my posts changing drastically, which is somewhat interesting, but an aside to this thread.
FWIW, I think there may be some miscommunication between us. It seems from my perspective that whatever points you are trying to make towards me are nonsensical, so I imagine the same may appear to be the case about my point towards you!

The thread topic is whether we think they would introduce cross realm raiding. As they currently have cross-realm grouping for instanced PVP, which also seems to work for queuing Zandalari heroic dungeon instances, incidentally, I have thought about this and wondered whether they would do so for raiding also.
This would of course be convenient for raiding with friends who are on other realms, or finding last-minute fills. However, as far as I know, cross-realm trading has never worked in Classic nor Retail, other than for items such as conjured mage food/water, or items that have dropped in the instance that is being run, such as how it works in Dungeon Finder or Battlegrounds in Classic (and as far as I know in Retail as well).
The only exception to this that I am aware of is for realms that have been connected, such as those on Classic Era that are clustered. They effectively act as the same realm though, using the same auction house, and being able to join guilds together.
I don’t think this is the case.
As far as I know, this is not how the game works in any version, nor has it ever been.
I brought it up because it would be a consideration as it would likely be impactful, not to interject an opinion as to whether I personally like or dislike it. Personal opinions towards it are indeed irrelevant to this thread, imo, but at least from where I stand, it sounds like that’s what you are trying to bring.
Anyway, it does seem that this interaction we are having hinges upon a misunderstanding of how cross realm grouping and trading (with regards to gold) works in Cata Classic and indeed in Retail. One of us seems to be mistaken, which should be relatively easy to resolve without using upsetting or argumentative wording.
It was absolutely in cata otherwise I would have never got my legendary staff.
There was even a website to help look for groups since there was no in game lfg or discord.
