How’s that? what’s the difference between open mythic on your own realm and cross realm?
Guilds behind the pug curve, find it hard to fill players. Perpetual roster boss.
Sure, maybe they suck, and shouldn’t be a guild in the first place, and just pug.
Cross realm mythic just raises that bar even more.
So by your logic, once 400 guild clears mythic. And cross realm mythic officially opens, it destable the guilds. Got it…
They don’t have to delete LFR, they just have to turn it into what those people actually want: watch cutscene, get loot.
If your guild is struggling, bet it’s gonna start losing people because people can easily seek greener pastures. No longer needing to server transfer for a trial.
Guild sucks, so people don’t join, and because people don’t join, guild sucks.

Buddy, i m talking about able to play with friends cross realm not recruit random people. Also yes earlier I did mention if guild missing 1-2 people from raid night was an example. If your guild had tank/healer that cant make the raid night would you just cancel entire raid for the rest of the folks for that week?
You could find one on server. As you’re looking to play with friends, there are other people looking to leave because current guild sucks (but it’s the best around.)
Also, just have friends play on same server, not a hard ask.
So let’s say you have some Chinese friend on Illidan server, and some people from area 52, and some friends that in low pop server. How you plan to play with all of them? Convince them to transfer? If I ask you to transfer so we can raid together would you do it? Like I said the whole time, it is accessibility issue. No difference if can access content sooner or wait for 400 to clear it then access it. By the time heroic and M+ are geared out. There is no other things to do besides unsub and play another game.

If I wanted to raid with that group, sure.
You’ve always transferred for mythic raiding. Mythic raiding is not an accessibility issue. Sure maybe for the first bosses, but I would argue then that first bosses are too easy and not representative of mythic difficulty.
Anyway from me they need to do crossrealm guilds first if they ever want to make mythic crossrealm.
Technically, can just make a cross realm community, (but people don’t use that feature lol.)
Already exists in a sense. What’s the difference? a guild bank?

communities are pretty badly designed from my point of view.

They’re a feature that people should actually use, yet people don’t take the effort to create one.
It’s not much different from a guild imo.
Less control than guilds, no guild bank like you said, not attached to any achievements or weekly stuff, etc. It’s just a worse discord room.

I think that’s just your own opinion, is fine, I think no one would care and the voice already said repeatly. Friends and I are just going to play another game. No need to spend time if nothing changed. You can feel good to play with friends once 400 guilds unlock your cross realm stuff and yes, it wont affect you if cross realm is opened already or not. Defend the old system if you want, I am going to stop here.
By the way if you also think getting the gear in raid is the same as in M+ then you can also compare it to pvp, it has the ilvl too once you reached the rating.
I dont think neither you had pugged mythic before so you wouldnt know. There are people who actually grouped up with friends on different server to raid together because their guild isnt doing mythics and dont have people either. Just running some content on same day for some loot.
You have 20 friends, and they won’t server transfer so you can mythic raid together? Really?
20 friends that want to play with each other.
I dont think neither you had pugged mythic before so you wouldnt know.
Been there, done that.
Not all bosses though.
And that’s fine. Playing other games is totally fair and being able to get done with content I think is an healthy playstyle. I just think if the high ground is gonna be to open up mythic just so pugs can do the 3 first bosses then it’s not worth it.
allows me to tag along with far more progressed guilds missing one for various reasons, with cross realm mythic enabled.
Although, if cross realm mythic was really important, then people would be in a rush to play after it’s been released.
Imagine the argument that releasing something X months later means no one would play it.
(Dragon Soul lasted too long, Sepulcher was too short.)
Having more people with access to early mythic wouldn’t hurt the game. Late mythic fights are way more intense then the early stuff, in fact the first half of the raid on mythic is generally on par for late heroic. There are definately guilds that would be up to try mythic if it wasn’t a logistical nightmare to organize on server.
Not that it matters, but isn’t it 200 guilds (old 100 per faction)?
I do think mythic should be cross realm, loot lockouts, and a small (maybe 18-22) flex to bring it into the future with literally every other raid and game mode.
If a guild dissolves because their members feel they have a better chance pugging the mythic raid with strangers than with their guild, well that says a lot more about their guild that the raid.
that’s literally how it works. if you apply for a mythic guild on a realm you don’t play on, it’s understood you will be transferring. it’s not a big deal.
