I want to be able to raid with people from other realms without transferring servers. My schedule only allows me to raid at 9 pst or later and, while there are guilds that raid at these times, they are very spread across all realms. It could be like cross realm for your region only.
I think everyone would benefit from that!
You can try to join a mega server if you want the biggest chances, but I doubt this would ever happen. Even on retail mythic is not really crossrealm because they care about server identity and people joining guilds.
Ive searched all the servers for guilds that suit my schedule and there are some on every servers, it just would be way better for everyones roster health imo if we could raid with alts and such with everyone. Bigger player pool to choose from for every guild too. If i want to tryout on my alt i have to buy a server transfer for it… its not very convenient. It doesnt have to be for anything other than raiding too, maybe battleground premades aswell
A better solution would be to merge the realms. Mega realms and layering have proven there’s no longer a need for numerous realms in the same region. More players=more groups, and fixes the problem of not having cross realm dungeons.
I think if you have a player on your friends list You should be able to do anything with them Regardless of what server you’re playing on.
I say cross room everything The whole server thing has done nothing good for the game. Not a single thing and if a really gonna make the justification server identity? Yeah that’s dead and buried as a concept.
Dragonflight lets you do that.
