i tried to get my alt invited to my guild…but either nobody knows how to do it or it doesnt work yet?
A community member from TheForgottenCoast successfully joined my guild on Hyjal today.
any idea what the procedure was?
cause ive tried to have bnet friends inv me (they say i auto decline - i dont even get a popup)…
i had another friend send me the link to guild (didnt work either)…
i tried inviting them myself and they dont show up as an option
I’m not sure. Maybe it’s buggy.
I hate that I can’t find my guild from other realms to invite myself
And I find my “services” crashes and goes down if I am on a character in a guild from a different realm, then I get disconnected.
It’s frustrating
I just invited one of my Alts on a different realm to my own Guild by placing it in the Guild Finder. They accepted the invite and is now in my Guild.
Cross-Faction is still same Realm only?
i dont know…i just saw a guildie bring his alt in cross server the same way i tried…
but for whatever reason mine doesnt work
Have you checked if you’re blocking guild invites in the settings window?
That’ll auto decline and it won’t notify you.

Nah, it’s a setting you can turn on 60 levels ago and forget about.
I can understand not thinking about it.

I just tried it with my guild and cross faction doesn’t even work on same realm for me. None of my characters on any realm in the opposite faction can see my guild.

Your cross faction alts won’t be able to find your Guild in the Guild Finder.
The process of inviting alts is a little convoluted…

That’s ok I saw it briefly, knowing that an second account csn work is great too in case this method ever gets changed
