The imbalance of the player base has become an exponential effect. With most of the player base firmly on Horde, forcing the remaining alliance guilds to suffer greatly at the lack of players on alliance. This means that I now either have to go horde to play the game at a level i desire and lose the races, transmogs and character identity i desire, Or suffer the inability to play the game and remain on alliance. This means to me, i either done joy a major aspect of the game or i dont enjoy a major aspect of the game.
I really dont know what it will take to make this happen, but the game is desperate for a mixing of Factions playeing together. Save the alliance!!!

After we reach 100 kills ( I think its 100) on the alliance side , so sit down and wait
And yet in my region Alliance dominates. I dont have any issues getting key runs or raid groups. Once enough CE guilds down MSlyv then itl open up to cross realm which will mean the more casual mythic raider can get in on the action easier.

Alliance is dead, thatâs just factual. Doesnât matter how you perceive it. Split factions donât make sense anymore in this game, just get rid of that antiquated system.

This is treating a symptom not the disease. Demand Blizzard stop being cowards about making changes to address this.
The âdiseaseâ is that WoWâs player base is plummeting, so the remaining players are all congregating on one side in order to increase their chances of finding other players to group with. That isnât really treatable, all we can really hope for is addressing the faction divide.
The faction divide has absolutely nothing to do with racial abilities anymore - Alliance racials are better (e.g. on tournament realms most players are Alliance even though their live characters are Horde). Racials donât matter, people are going to play the faction that has 10x participation in end-game content.

Which means that the situation is still the exact same as the OPâs, just mirrored where if youâre OCE, staying Horde, even if you like the races and/or faction identity of the Horde, would cripple your progression.
This is correct. So Blizzard needs to make the game more competitive to treat the disease, instead of playing the school lunch lady and serving the same greasy thing every Friday.
The faction issue is the result of past bad design and they donât seem particularly interested in implementing meaningful fixes for this. That is the reason Iâm not wholly against the idea of cross faction groups. If Blizzard refuses to fix what is broken, I will have to settle for a splinting.
Simple fix: Make Hall of Fame guilds earn a mount same like Gladiator season mounts and maybe an unique transmog. Make Alliance racials so broken people have to make a shift to progress faster same as what happened with Horde racials for years.
When things are looking more balanced, balance the racials like they are today and done.
I understand why they donât want to create unbalanced racials again, but they do need to add something. My suggestion has always been something along with a discount on the monthly subscription with free faction change, and make it dynamic with the faction balance you play with. There are problems with this idea but I think it is closer to the right answer.
What they should NOT be doing is fixing problems with the faction imbalance for the dominant faction. Pvp mercenaries was a dumb move.
HoF doesnt open up cross faction only cross realm. But its to the point where HoF requirements wont be fullfilled next tier.
as far as im aware, OCE is the only region in the world where alliance is more prevalent. Thats great for OCE players dont get me wrong. but it doesnt help the rest of the world.
This wont solve faction imbalance. It will merely re-imbalance the factions on the favor of alliance.
This is accurate. Guilds for raiding and M+ players are(forgive the pun) hording to one side. In order to obtain the players they need.
So bait players to pay $55 each to faction/server transfer for overpowered racials, with the plan to switch it up and nerf them once half the playerbase is trapped on a faction they no longer want to play? Even Activision wouldnât sign off on a cash grab that unethical

alliance is only fine if youâre in oce. As seen on mythic raiding over 100 horde guild has killed M sylv while thereâs only 20 alliance that has killed her. Yup complete balance
Youâre not fixing the problem only seesawing it. The youâll find over the years playerbase will start swapping to alliance over horde and weâll start getting the complain about horde dying and need a fix
