Has it been confirmed if paladin loot is going to drop for the horde and shaman loot for the alliance?
I realize that this was in effect at the time of patch 1.12, but for most of vanilla wow, this wasn’t happening. I would argue that cross faction loot was a side effect of TBC, and not part of an authentic vanilla experience. As such, I request that paladin and shaman tier sets be changed to only drop for their respective factions.
There simply isn’t enough loot drops in raids as it is to start off from day one losing extra drops to unusable gear. It was slightly less of an issue at the tail end of vanilla (but still thoroughly obnoxious) since we had lots of time to farm raids prior to getting robbed of loot with cross faction loot being enabled.
Please keep faction specific loot separate, since TBC isn’t a thing that will be happening to this version of Classic.
