I like races from both sides but prefer Horde lore and governance platform more. Cross-Faction races should be a thing.
I wouldn’t even mind a few penalties like maybe a -20% Gain to Reputation for being an ex-patriot.
With the new starting zone coming in Shadowlands it couldn’t be more reasonable. Wouldn’t even be too hard to create a 30sec animation about being an outcast seeking opportunities elsewhere.
It would really bump up my Rogue Outlaw rp and all that fun jazz.

Yeah… even I’m starting to think maybe they should find a new way to do factions. Or even drop factions entirely. Cause I know I don’t want another faction war X-pac again. 
Also with most, if not all races being able to be on either side. I’d finally be able to play Nightborne as a neutral race. Like they should’ve been in the first place!

It would be cool if we got a questline that would allow our character to defect to the other faction. It makes sense story-wise that not everyone on each faction would want to stay there, and might feel more aligned with the other for some reason or another.

I think that one makes sense honestly… going to the faction with your non-mechanically upgraded cousins?

The whole Tyrande thing felt like a shoe in to me… Or just grasping at straws when during Legion both Alliance & Horde helped out in Suramar.
I would LOVE to be able to play kul tiran on horde. It drives me nuts that I can’t. 
The faction crap is dumb and outdated. I can’t play with half my friends cause they’re on alliance and I don’t have the time, desire, or willingness to level and gear something on a faction that doesn’t have access to my gold supplies… Nor do I wanna spend time gearing a duplicate of my current class so I can my my “lock” with them. 
I’ve got friends who won’t play horde because they don’t like horde races. It’s just a giant CF that excludes people from being able to play with other people. It needs to go.

I’ve been saying this for years now. It would allow a bit of depth in the game even if the factions decide to make nice.

I have said several times before, removing factions for PvE is something I can get behind. This games population isn’t what it used to be and splitting the playerbase up makes it worse. Let players cross faction for PvE content, boom, probably just doubled the number of people to group with for raids, dungeons, etc…

I have 3 120 kul tirans lol. Druid, DK, and a warrior. I just don’t have the energy to gear them. Warrior is sitting at like 390ilvl (it’s what got me my heritage armor). My horde warrior is 477. So when I play it I just miss my horde warrior. My druid is 465 and my DK is 450. I don’t have the energy or desire to try and keep them relevant. If I could play the race on horde tho, my shaman would be one. My horde warrior would be one. My priest and mage would be them. Lol. About the only class I have that is 470+ that wouldn’t be a KT is my warlock. Lol. I don’t get why they won’t, at the very least, just make it so that faction only matters when you’re in warmode. I’d happily main alliance if I could turn off WM and play with my horde group (so I could be KT).
I agree, I like half of the races on the Horde but can’t stand their flagship aesthetic. Similarly, I don’t care for some of the races on the Alliance but enjoy the architecture here more. I’d support cross-faction PVE if it ever became a thing.

They don’t need to be as high up as your main is
Still good enough to mess around and have some fun. Completely get why you’re not so enfused about the warrior though as you dont really get much different from your main
