No thanks, I’d love to see factions completely lose their relevance and remove the fee remaining gameplay restrictions, the factions bogged the game down pointlessly long enough.

It would cost a great deal of money to re-code LFG so Allance and Horde can queue together at this time. Because of the cost we don’t really have plans to do this but if enough people unsubscribe and the money goes away we’ll certainly do it in a heartbeat.

This. Ion snorts his own fumes since he is an old school Horde loyalist and probably one of the only people who want to keep it faction locked and reputation character bound. Remember, he used to be “Elitist Jerk” and he has OG everything. He was “that guy” toxic elitist. Keep pushing and force him to change his mind and adopt the changes needed to make the game fully accessible. ALL and FULL Reputation account wide. Cross faction Ques. Do it.
I have Alliance and Horde friends. I can’t play with my Alliance friends in Timewalking or dumb dungeon runs because of this. Yet we can form a party and do M+ and N/H/M Raid together while in the same guild. Makes total sense /s.
I gotta say I hope they look into this soon. Having cross faction guilds has opened up a lot of opportunities for my guild. However, it makes running content as a group harder to do without being exclusionist. As an example, if we have 4 or less people on, nothing can happen unless they que into separate groups dividing horde and alliance. If we have 8 people on, we have to pick the 5 we want to run with and leave three out. I know its not this simple (couldn’t you just have three if the same faction que and the other 5 do it manually?) but its an extra step that prevents the people who want to play together not be able to. There are a lot of great people who would love to play together if you would just let them.
If there is some residue of players that cannot function in the game unless they are completely cut off from the other faction then make that a mode. How is that any different from War Mode? You select Faction at War mode and when you que only those in your faction can play with you. If you toggle it off, just like WM off you can now que with anyone who has not toggled on the isolation button. Please make this happen.

I’ve done enough Remix to know that at this point the entire idea of forcing factions separate for queues is unfounded and a nuisance.
Let’s dispell the illusion that there is an important reason to keep people from being able to queue with each other. There isn’t. Even if you were worried about the RP community, just let them decide for themselves.

I made a post about this just the other day.
It serves nothing but make a huge barrier between playing with my friends and new cross faction guildmates. I want to do Timewalking and LFR with everyone and not tell them sorry, gotta queue on your own because 4 of us are horde and you aren’t.
Let people opt out if its a problem with RP.

Eagerly awaiting when Que times are better and being able to do Timewalking with friends who have different faction characters/alts.
They need to make this happen. Not wanting to hurt the purest feelings? They did that when they made guilds cross faction. They did that when they allowed cross faction raids. They did that when they got rid of PvP servers. So many times they hurt the feelings of purest and yet if any purest still play the game they are still playing. Making everything open for us to decide like the npcs are allowed (Ya know Thrall joining in say dragon soul with alliance players??) At this point all this is doing is harming majority of players. I’m in a horde guild and I cannot que with them on my void elf in qued activities. Yes I want to play void elf. I hate the majority of horde cities. But I don’t hate the horde as a whole. I’ll join arms with them to fight evil etc etc. So why cannot I decide that because of some silly system that shouldn’t be in place?

So today they announced they would add cross faction queueing in lfg BUT ONLY FOR ALREADY FULL GROUPS. They completely missed the point. Reddit is having fun with it too…
I reckon we should treat this the same way we did in the recently successful transmog unlock update we’re going to get after TWW launch. Everyone should continue to voice their request/demand for letting us cross faction queue regardless of party size so they can get the message like they did with the transmog.

I agree. this needs to happen sooner rather than later, I don’t know why they insist on waiting at this point.
THIS is the point in the expac where everyone is doing heroic dungeons, and it really sucks to have to tell a friend and guildie “sorry you can’t play with us”
making groups in LFG isn’t viable if you need a healer or tank, I sat in queue for 20 minutes last night looking for a healer for my xfaction group before I gave up and told my friend he had to hop out so the rest of us could queue.
it’s just unnecessarily frustrating. Put in a toggle people can set to avoid cross faction groups and let the rest of us play.

giga-agree. it’s SO stupid to have introduced cross faction guilds AND cross server guilds but I can’t queue with an alliance member of my guild to do a heroic? get out of here man, CHANGE IT.
