So I have read, just now, that you can send mail to your characters on different faction, if they are on the same realm. Does that work for linked realms, like Aegwynn (Aliance) and Bonechewer (Horde)?

I thought the appropriate answer from the forums was “I am not doing your work for you! You made a statement now prove it!” Or something along the lines of that.
At least thats the answer I got from someone who told me I was lying on something as easy to prove…
You always have been able to mail cross server to the same side like horde1 to horde 2 but i wasnt aware of this new one with cross faction other than bind to account things like catch up gear and archeology things

I would assume so if ally to ally could mail on those realms
I have my Horde and alliance split. hmm let me make and alt and try
Yes you can.I just made a new Void elf on my Horde server and sent a message only and a message with silver to my Forsaken mage on same sever.
Was able to receive and get the silver
Edit - this is HUGE for those of us with a lot of alts or who constantly make new alts

With the new cross faction gameplay, it appears that you can send mail cross faction with yourself.
What he’s asking is if it works in linked lower pop realms as well… Which…

Probably not, because this honestly is probably an oversight in itself, with a deeper, more cunning oversight to linked realms.

What the OP is asking is if mail can be sent cross faction between linked realms, e.g. between Azgalor, Azshara, Destromath, etc. All realms that have been linked together.
Again, my guess is: Probably. But I’m at work so I can’t test it out.

Yes, it does. I’ve mailed gold, consumables, crafting mats, etc. from Alliance on Thunderhorn to Horde on Blades Edge, which are connected realms.

Yes. It does work. Connected Realms are just smart mergers. It’s all the same server.
