Cross faction Hall of Fame but not guilds? What?

Cross-faction Mythic Vault of the Incarnates will be available from the start. Hall of Fame entries will require at least 16 out of 20 raiders to be from the same guild and faction to be eligible for rewards

So let me get this straight. Some people can be not in your guild/be on the opposite faction but still raid Mythic with you/get hall of fame with you. But why not have the cross-faction guilds be a thing when you open it up like this?

Imagine the drama, now you can have 4 guildies swap Horde for Mythic raiding, but who decides which raiders get to swap? Lets be real, a lot of people will want the “best” racial for their class. I feel less of an issue for Horde guilds as I don’t think many would be Alliance races, but a much bigger issue/drama for Alliance guilds with players wanting to be Horde for racials.

I actually thought Cross Faction Guilds were coming. I had assumed in DF.

May have just been a forums rumor tho.

If memory serves they said its on the table, but likely not at DF launch and likely next expansion.

They explained that their still coding issues at play somewhere.

Coming but who knows when. Could be in DF later on, could be next xpac, who knows?
