When we get cross faction guilds, will you still stay the race you currently are for your main? I’m Kul Tiran right now but the moment we get Cross-Faction Guilds I’m gonna go highmountain tauren so fast its not even funny.
I know I can raid with my guild regardless of faction, but I also like to contribute to the guild bank and have access to repairs; so its nice to be same faction as the others right now.
Would be nice, I would just take it further and do away with the factions or just allow you to play any race in both factions. Draenei are my favorite race but all my friends play Horde so I am SOL there
When we do get it there will be very little left to use elsewhere because their the same folks on both sides. So look for longer raid ques and very little in pugs, this also means very few to do wq content.
I have one alt guild on area 52 for my 20ish horde alts, and one on stormrage with my 10ish alliance alts. I will probably pay to have everyone on area 52 if/when cross faction guilds come into the game.
I think i prefer being a void elf, and i know i prefer being alliance.
But vulpera have bag of tricks which means i can heal people on my warlock. Or more importantly, heal that boss from icecrown without having to hit the AH for bandages first.
This is where I’m at. I’ve got my Alliance on Moon Guard (18) and Horde in Wyrmrest Accord (18) and I’m tempted to move my Alliance over to have everyone in one guild. I already keep them both in personal guilds, and I might actually play my Alliance if they’re connected to my main and his wealth.
I can see that being another reason too, that someone would want cross-faction guilds. I thought you could already send stuff through the mail at least. Or is that not cross-server and still have to be on the same server?
I’m confused, you think breaking down the faction barrier will somehow make content go away? Or am I misunderstanding here? Why would the que get longer?
I THINK you can cross faction but not cross realm, but I’m not 100%. With current professions my Alliance could also benefit from my specializations on my Horde alts so that’d be another reason to bring them over, too.
The way I read it, and what I think their mindset is, is that when theres the entire playerbase to choose from rather than just one faction when you queue for dungeons or LFR the queue times will go up which…I can kind of understand?
