Cross Faction guild?

Okay so I tried to invite my Alliance alts into my Horde guild, but it says “you cannot invite players from the opposing faction” so is it not enabled yet or are there some rules?

I had no problem. I created a Cross Faction Community added all my alts. Then used an alt on a 2nd account to do /ginvite to get all my Alliance alts in my Horde Guild.

Make sure they are all on the same connected realm group. I couldn’t get it to work at all, and that was the issue

Since he’s getting “you cannot invite players from the opposing faction” I assume they are.

I need a rundown on how this works. It should be simple since its both my accounts on the same login.

Create a Cross Faction Community and add all alts. Use a Horde alt in the Guild on your 2nd account to use /ginvite to invite Alliance alts in the opposite 1st account.

They have to be on your BNet friend list to invite them. It’s a tech issue.

You invite someone who’s friends with you, and they invite your alts.

No they don’t. Same Cross Faction Community also works.

You can’t that’s why the only way is Cross Faction Community’s.

Stupid question… does the second account need an active subscription. I normally use a level 10 alt that invites even with no sub active for same faction alts.

I want to make my NE a BE again. Do I have to leave my current guild to race change and get reinvited back? If so wouldn’t I lose my standing and rep?

My hordie is in my alliance guild (the one this char is in).
But I had a friend I have on bnet add me. Not sure if that matters.

I think so because no active sub is basically a trial account and can’t join a Guild or use mail.

This worked for me, thank you.

My non active sub level 10 was able to invite my active alliance main by using this method. It takes a lot of back and forth and making sure cross faction is ticked in Community Settings, but it worked!

Not sure… I would just try and see if you get removed from the Guild.

So does /2 work for cross faction now? What if the guild recruiter isn’t on your faction?

I did not need a second active sub. I still needed to make the Cross faction community first (and check the box in Community Settings), and then do a lot of back and forth but eventually my level 10 non sub was able to /ginvite my alliance chars.
