Cross-Faction Dungeon Queueing

What do we got to do to get Cross-Faction dungeon queueing? All my friends are swapping factions due to recent changes, but now I cant do Raid Finder or Dungeon Finder content with them. Would love for this to be the next big Cross-faction change.

Blizzard is working on it. Some technical issues they have to solve first.

its in the works no eta

My two mains are horde and alliance, but the 2 people I play with are both horde. So many times we’ll be doing M+ or open world content (to the extent that you can,) and then we’re like “oh right, the weekly heroic quest” or talk about LFR
and then we remember we can’t. It’s really annoying, tbh.

My cynical side is telling me they’re delaying it on purpose to space out ‘new’ features. Blizzard are experts at drip-feeding, so while you guys may be realistically correct, I’m not going to fully believe it.

Not that my opinion here matters. They won’t release it till they want to either way.

Give it time and they’ll add the ability for full groups to queue.

That is solved by loosening your tinfoil hat

If you have a full group, why are you queueing?

I think they’re delaying it because it’s not a priority for them.

Because you can’t walk in the door of Timewalking and you can’t get bonus xp on lowbies without queueing.

That bonus xp is intended to get people to join the queue and actually create groups for people.

It gets me to join groups with friends so they don’t have to deal with toxic people and have fun while we level.

I honestly don’t care what their original reason was. I know what I use it for and so do many others.

Why even nitpick that?

Editing to add that Murder has a very good point:

Enable this TONIGHT!

I’m pretty sure the work isn’t done. They may not even have decided on further features at this point.

And levelers would not do dungeons were they unable to queue and get ported to those dungeons. Spending a day’s playtime creating and filling a few groups in trade chat or through general chat in some zone and then having everyone travel to that dungeon means players would be running dungeons instead of leveling.

Work Blizz by Britney Spears.

It’s not a tinfoil hat issue when there is a blatant history leading to said belief.

However, if I do have a tinfoil hat, you have rose-tinted goggles.

I don’t consider pointing out the limitations of a proposal to eliminate access to leveling dungeons for the majority of levelers to be “nit picking”. But hey, if you only ever level with a group of your closest friends, and you travel to the dungeon and walk it every time, entirely avoiding the dungeon finder, I’ll say your not a hypocrite.

But I don’t think you’re doing that. In fact, in most zones there is no one to play with in any way. So expecting other levelers to travel to faraway dungeons to run in is totally unreasonable.

But I can’t imagine my hypothetical group of friends all rolling characters at the same time to level together and run into dungeons. Then repeating. It seems like such an odd gameplay.

Could really use this feature right now. Buddy of mine joined up and asked to play, but it turns out he’s on Alliance. I just want to high five a dwarf and punch dragons together.
