With the state of the game dwindling and the argument on shaman / pally balance, how would you feel if they did combined faction battle grounds? This at least helps with the complaints on not having the opposite class and what they bring to the table, would also help horde queues most likely.
The common arguments against are 1) just balance your game blizz (not goona happen, good try). 2) my Lore (). 3) I chose alliance so I deserve quicker queues then horde who knew what they were doing! (Isn’t balance more important / peace of mind from getting dunked on by shamans).
the AvA and HvH matches in TBCC/LKClassic were fun. Helps keep queue times down and makes for some different dynamics (mostly in the form of racials, but now Paladins/Shaman are faction-specific).
potential issue is the Level 60 Honor system versus TBC/LKClassic and how potentially a FvF faction of 2 premades on the same server might be … kinda weird. probably not really abuseable, tho. but somebody would find a way.
WoW SoD class balance is way to difficult and time intensive to even try it. Just mix the factions in BG’s… At least then it won’t be as destructive as currently…
The honor system takes so long to grind regardless that don’t think it would be an issue, but as you said anything “abusable” always is eventually haha
If the factions mixed both will be low queue times. It won’t be horde vs horde, alliance and horde mix to form 1 team (similarly to ranked retail pvp and mythic raiding)
i know but some shamans came here at the light’s speed saying that you would play retail, so, for those shamans, horde vs horde won’t happen even with 3h queue because thats retail.
Imo WoW should have 1 factionless realm, without DHKs and you can raid your own cities, jeeez.
Or switch to a third faction with ffa purpose even with your own allies who are not in the party.

Trust me, people don’t change. This game won’t change. Take it for what it is, or get another game that already has what you want.
