I just noticed that crafted items for BS, LW and tailoring cannot be seen cross faction and therefore cannot be sold cross faction. JC, Ench and and Alch can be sold cross faction. I have no clue with respect to inscription as I dropped it. I haven't checked engineering yet.
I am not sure if this is working as intended, however, if it is not please fix. If it is working as intended, then shame on you for not telling anyone.
The armor crafting professions have different transmogs, thus their are a different set of plans for horde players then alliance players, and both sets likely require the same faction to equip. So Blizzard is doing players a favor by not displaying gear they can never use.
All the consumables a faction neutral, so it doesn't matter.

Thanks Haspian, however, Ench, Jcs and Alch can make more that "consumables".
JCs - Staffs
Enchs - Wands
Alch - Trinkets
They all can be sold cross faction.
Staffs and Wands can be transmoged
My issue is they are reducing the number of buyers for your crafted items, which drives prices down and trade goods required to make the items stay up because there is more demand due to more buyers. That is most certainly true for metals and cloth.

Good point on the weapons, forgot they had the ability to do that now. Although, are the weapons crafted by leatherworking and blacksmithing able to be sold cross-faction? Blizzard might have only done a unique faction transmog for the armor, not the weapons.
Weapons for BS/LW do not cross, I am fairly confident that guns (engineering) don't as well.
Tailoring doesn't have weapons.

Looked around after having trouble sending gear to an alt through a 3rd party friend. Selective cross faction AH goods is poor game design. But if you faction change a character, Blizzard has no problem making the gear switch mogs and usable...

Just thinking about it, it is probably to encourage the whole faction war theme of the expansion. They flagged some or all of the crafted gear that mattered as requiring horde or alliance, those items are then automatically hidden by the AH to prevent you from buying something you can't ever use.
True, a shaman can buy swords, a monk wands, but they can also send those to alts who can use them. A horde player cannot send non-BoA items to an alliance alt.
oh lol, now i know why those over retarded prices for a couple of gloom dust, its just some guy passing money to himself
