Very simple very whiny post, but when looking at gearing there is sometimes a bunch of the exact same titled geared with different stat distributions, which I get can be important… but like… can we use a suffix or just let the player select the stats in some way?
GW2, on legendary… items… lol, allows you to select them. On ascended you have to pay though, I’m not really looking to lock down or change an item after purchase though I’d be fine for that- the request is primarily just “t-shirt” “t-shirt” and “t-shirt” is a little annoying to read (first world problem), but the differences are very important… which makes it worse.
So like you have two leather Jerkins, one is of the fox and the other is of the bear, and therefore the stats align with that concept. FFXIV uses this for jobs (striking, aiming, maiming).
One or both of these, would be neat, and I know its very low on the list, but every time I do see a merchant with all those options I’m like OH MY GOD WHY IS THERE SO MANY OF THE SAME ITEM lol. But its not the same item… So something to differentiate them (or meld) would be nice.
Not a request to reduce item build potential, just make it simpler to read (or use, if going the GW2 legendary re-allocate feature).
Thanks for reading my tiny violin post
