It is currently possible to die and not be able to see the spirit healer in Warsong Gulch.
If your corpse is looted, it becomes impossible to resurrect for the remainder of the match, forcing you to eat a Deserter debuff.
Stuck does nothing. There is no workaround outside of afking out and force-closing the client.
Additionally when you do AFK, you remain dead. Relogging outside of the battleground will revive you but this does not work inside the battleground.
You do not get the Ghost debuff applied to you when this bug happens, which may be the culprit.

Not to necro this, but I just experienced this myself in Warsong Gulch. Pretty bad bug.
This Just happened to me in SoM, WSG match, sent to ally spirit healer spot, no healer there, no timer. Tried walking to my body, it gave me the “do you want to ressurrect” pop up but nothing happened when i hit ok

To clarify, is this issue now occuring on Era, Season of Mastery, or TBCC?
It happens in every version of Wow thats old.
It’s a bug that’s been in the game since vanilla and blizzard has done nothing to fix it.
The only fix is to walk back to your body accept the res then relog and you will log in with 1 health and 1 mana.
you’re also visible to the enemy faction in this form so when you log back in you’re gonna be ded
