Criteria for my hunter, i need some help

Im looking for a hunter race that meets a few criteria and im looking for some opinions:

  1. Looks good at ranged
  2. Looks good as Survival
  3. Isn’t really lore breaking with a gun OR a bow
  4. The hunter mogs look good on them
  5. For open world/devs, who has the best racials
  6. Preferably Alliance but at this point i don’t care

This is a questing toon. Ill play it seriously but not in serious content. I don’t want to have to race chnage 6 months from now and im jot very familiar with the modern hunter class.

Feel free to add in your own rationale. Im not looking for answers; just opinions.

Honestly, all those criteria? Human male. They fit your needs, and honestly look amazing in all mogs. Even this worgen gets mogs based on my Gilnean form and not my Worgen form.

My Hunters are Worgen, Human, Orc, Dracthyr, and Tauren.

Orc has a passive racial that increases pet damage by 1% and their active racial increases attack power which also benefits the pet, giving their pet 2 damage boosts.

Worgen look great with pet wolves, there’s even a recolored T2 set that look like wolves, and a the Armored Alliance Worg mount adds to the theme.

I enjoy my female night elf hunter. I tend to stick to bow mogs but I like her animations plus I play beastmaster so the soft vanish of Shadowmeld is like a 2nd charge of feign death and quite handy to have.

Dwarf or orc.

Right now I have a hunter who is my off brand Sylvanas simp toon, but my main hunter is a dwarf and I have another orc hunter too.

Hunter gear is ugly but usually looks good on an orc, and dwarves don’t look too bad in mail either.

FEMALE DRAENEI bar none! everything sexy on female draenei, even those old school boots with the skinny feet and fat calf parts. they look amazing on female draenei.

DARK IRON > DWARF > ORC > TROLL for delves. even though i wouldnt really worry to much about racials for delves / open world. DARK IRON gives a 4% speed boost indoors and they have ability to remove all poison, curse, magic, disease and bleeds and increase primary stat and while outdoors got mole machine. so i would say DARK IRON IS BEST.

  3. DARENEI female
  4. MAG’HAR ORC either sex
  5. ORC either sex
  6. TROLL male

I have a dark iron BM hunter and his racial ability lines up nicely with my on-use trinket and big damage cooldown to give him a little extra oomph.

Considering the crystal theme items with the War Within, I wanna say the Draenei races will be a neat choice. Easier to avoid transmog costs but that’s just a funny thought. :robot::thought_balloon:

If we get Broken, id take it. Its not the brand new race i want. But Broken are cool af to me.

I’ve created a few hunters right now (low level) just to play with transmogs as that’s endgame :stuck_out_tongue:

Hunters don’t have any good looking races/mogs especially compared to so many other classes / races.

I wouldn’t worry about the racials too much. Most of them are crap anyway. I would go with human or void elf. The transmogs look best on them and with the void elf, the transmogs would be cheaper.

Think there’s been plenty of broken items from Argus (and trading post) and tabards for Argus and Outland, maybe possible to make a Champion of the broken? :womans_clothes::robot:

Female orcs has the equivalent of peak performance human body minus the green skin and small tusks.

Their poses for combat and basic stand are top notch. The armors aren’t over the top like on male orcs or muted with that prone NPC stand that male humans have

They are also not medure like the human female body

They are also not dwarves. Big importance.
