Looks like both were nuked in Dragonflight. Annoying as hell due to I did not purchase The War Within, and I wanted to use up my stones and crests.
Now before everyone chimes in with “its a new season”, no it is not. Not for that expansion. It is a new expansion, and we should still be able to use the currency from Dragonflight, especially if we did not purchase the new expansion.
EDIT: Antique Bronze Bullion vendors are gone as well. looks like I missed out on a bunch of stuff for my alts.
Yes they ruined dragonflight, None of the world event vendors gear is convertable to tier anymore, and now you cant even upgrade it. Meaning to farm any of the tmogs of dragonflight you have to run raids.
Why are the Bullion vendors being removed? Customers with bullions are left hanging.
How about completing tier gear collection?
Not sure if you can still get Sparks too. Crafted dragonflight items still require Sparks to craft even if its just for collecting transmog. The last two seasons require flightstones to convert splinters so if you have any in storage theyre useless now.
So this last week of gameplay in dragonflight was pointless? And now if you can’t afford the expansion there’s no point to playing? Thank you Blizzard.

WoW is a Software as a Service. Not a game you can play how you want. The sooner you learn that, the sooner you’ll find peace away from the game or with an actual game that’s a much better experience (there are many).
Hope they sell all DF pvp sets because only 2 are available
I just tested this, and you can run a new level 70 to Valdrakkan and do the quest with the Engine to get 5 season 1 sparks, which is enough if you’re just making items for appearance unlock. Considering every 70 can only do this once it may take quite some time if you have a lot of appearances you want.
I just wish we go back to the normal days… I don’t like the new Crests and Flightstones system… Upgrading gear with Valor from dungeons is more than enough.
It’s like dragonflight was up for a few days or something. Y’all had 2 plus years to do all of this and the last season made all mogs active and relevant again. Please cut the bs
Even then you might still be able to get season 2 sparks, which don’t require flightstones to make. As that became a thing with season 3. Although the only way to get them without doing Aberrus is the rep weekly for the Niffin.
