Is there a way (add-on, WA, etc) to track my progress towards reaching the crest trade-up breakpoints? TIA
yes you can just track the achievements associated with each breakpoint
Unless you’re routinely vendoring gear that is a higher ilvl, look at what you have equipped.
Even if you are vendoring a lot, those slots will have the crest cost removed so just upgrade anything that’s vstones-only.
Look at your gear.
If it is all Explorer 8/8 or Veteran 4/8 or higher, you reached breakpoint 1. If not every slot is there, keep working on the slots that are not.
Repeat at Veteran 8/8 or Champion 4/8 for breakpoint 2. This is also R5 Spark of Fortune gear without a Crest.
Repeat again at Champion 8/8 or Hero 4/6 for breakpoint 3.
It does not matter what you total item level is, only that every slot is at or above the threshold.

I don’t see any of the achievements with Season 2 crests. Am I overlooking them?
OK cool - I can mouse-over the crests in my character currency sheet and it shows the item level range. I just need to max each slot per crest type. Got it. Thanks!
IIRC, the break points are ilevels 632, 645, and 658. You can trade up once every slot reaches those levels.
Look at your gear.
Past season gear needs to be upgraded, and then check if any of it needs to be upgraded at the upgrade vendor.
They’re Feats of Strength so you can’t look them up til you have them.
