Saw this post from Wowhead and I forgot about a lot of these but are there any others you feel were as or more creepy?
For me the one that comes to mind is the Horde quest “Do the right thing”.
If not creepy then definitely disturbing especially if you read the diary associated to the quest.

What number 2 doesn’t mention is there are similar ghosts in undercity. In the little court yard outside of the entrance, if you use eye of kilrog there will be ghosts that appear.

The creepiest thing is the female troll in the very first beta for WoW. The next thing, the troll/dwarf model in the Cata beta.

Another creepy thing is in Darkmoon Faire and gives you a toy (Ring of Broken Promises) that turns you into a demonic or demon-possessed being.
There’s a secret room in Darkmoon Faire with a whole bunch of demon-possessed identical dopple-gangers. They’re all named the same thing… “Erinys”.
It is unknown what happened to the real Erinys that was cloned. Presumably dead and / or spirit-possessed.
