Why doesn’t the Creeping Carpet fly?
Because it creeps.
There is no logical answer to that.
Wasn’t it added in WoD? I always figured it was a way to “normalize” no flying before they were forced to cave later on in the expansion.
So lemmie get this straight…
-
We can launch a giant meteor-sized fireball down onto a fire elemental and have it not only do damage but work indoors.
-
A gnome the same weight as an obese chihuahua can whip around a giant, two-handed sword the same length as Dallas, Texas as if it were made of wet cardboard and balsa wood.
-
A Pandaren with corgi-like legs, half-inch thick plate armor, and a big polearm can outrun a scantily clad night elf with a runner’s body.
-
We can stab a dragon the same height as the Chrysler Building with a stinky fish in one hand and a broken bottle in the other.
And the one thing, THE ONE THING , that sets you off is the name of the Creeping Carpet and why it flies?
I don’t think you actually read the OP.
They asked why that particular carpet doesn’t fly. Because all of the rest do fly.
Probably the same logic that some tiger/panther mounts can’t fly and some can. Because…reasons???
I mean, it’s kind of in the name.
All carpets fly except one, I was disappointed too when I made the mount back in WoD.
Just another mount to collect dust, would have been a great mount for one of my mages.
It’s a beautiful color and I would love to use it, but it makes no sense since it’s not a “flying carpet” type, it a “levitating slightly off the ground carpet”. That carpet is way too beautiful to go to waste Blizz should update this.
