Creature Spawn Timers

There needs to be a quick pass over nearly every creature spawn >2-3 minutes. Some have 15-20 minute spawns even though they are part of chains and low level. I understand the “spirit of classic” where youre meant to group and sometimes wait together for a mob, but when there is AT LEAST 40 people standing in a circle around a mob with a 5+ minute respawn it goes from fun leveling to staring at a clock as you mousewheel your fire blast macro.

I dont think that select named NPCs shared the increased spawn rates of the other mobs in the area is the problem and it seems like an easy fix, especially during launches.

The ideal way to play the game should not be a state where youre HOPING noone else is around in an MMO. Also party EXP fixes / group drops for early annoying quests would be good quality of life but quest NPCs spawning faster would kinda fix those.

1 minute spawns for creatures with >10 players within 15 yards of the corpse or spawn
3 minute spawns for certain elites that would become terrible to quest near if they spawned early

on a side note, if everyone can download an addon for mob health, the option needs to be in the game. Either disable the ability for the addon or show exact mob health (keep players as a % somehow)

specific patrols, mostly horde. The northwatch keep one is 10-15 minutes, shorter if he dies immediately/gets to ratchet quickly

uh the goblin in wailing caverns seems to be 10 minutes, based off the ingame timer while waiting

the alliance patrol is this long however its so unique and its 5 elites so maybe it should be for that one.

its mostly a complaint about “major” quest npcs not sharing the scaled respawning other mobs do, which causes EVERY single fresh to end up with 40 people standing around said NPC corpses spamming flame shock or fire blast
