Creation of That Type of Character is Currently Throttled

So what’s the deal here? I created a new alliance DH, want to get the 5 max level characters and one per faction.

Got my mail, accepted the quests and tried to join a BG but got a quest not completed error. I abandoned the anniversary quest and still could not join a BG and thought better to just complete the starting quests first. I realised I could not get the anniversary back so I deleted the character and made a new one, accept I forgot to customise them, did not not log in, deleted the new one and now cannot get another DH made.

Question is first, why does the game still limit the amount of DH made? Especially since one of them I did not even log into the game with.

Second, can I get the anniversary quest back after abandoning it, even if done so in error?

It’s to stop people from making a bunch of DHs, collecting all the gold and loot in the starting zone, then deleting them and starting over.

And the 24-hour hold on instanced content is to keep gold farmers from farming instances immediately after account creation (usually using stolen CC numbers). An instant high-level toon would be too useful for illicit gold generation.

Yup. What he said.

So this is well and good, but why though even when I did not enter the game on the second DH I made could I no longer make another one? I was able to delete them with no issues and I made a few other characters today that I entered into game and could not delete, they had mail.

The game should recognise the fact you never went into the game instead of just “Oh look, another DH”.

Also, the quest, possible to get it after abandoning it?

Why add extra steps to a 1 dh limit?

Well if I create a DH and never enter, I just forgot to customise, than delete them, the game should know this.

It’s not about 2 DH, it’s simply stupid to have rules that stop you even making another one for any reason at all.
