Creating new druid on mankrik classic server worth it?

I played classic when it came out but never did hit 60 before real life stepped in. I created a new character for TBC classic and played that to 70 and had some fun but now it appears it is gone–no worries I want to try a new class anyhow.

Is it worth it to play on classic servers now (i do not want wotlk). Are there any guilds left or anyone playing on the classic pve servers like mankrik?

Even if I end up alone Ill probably try it out but it would be helpful to at least run into some players here and there or get help out in the world.

Thanks!

Good news! Mankrik cluster [PvE East] is the free Xfer destination for PvE realms in Classic Era so ending up alone there is unlikely. I will point out that there is another, smaller, and likely often forgotten PvE West cluster:

I can’t offer an opnion on either since I play on the PvP East 1 cluster. No matter where/what faction you consider going, my advice for starting out is to first simply create a level 1 tester toon and try chatting with the locals. That will give you a feel for the culture each community has to offer.

I could see the people who want to keep playing Era that get tired of hardcore going to Mankrik. Plus it seems to be populated enough for ally anyway. Not a bad choice. Roll a level 1 on the server and ask around.
