Starting with the next weekly reset, players will be required to solve a very simple Captcha-like test every time before entering any battleground. We understand that this will be a minor inconvenience to our regular players, but ultimately decided that it’s our best next step toward curbing the botting problem. This will of course only prevent bots from entering battlegrounds, meaning they can still disrupt regular gameplay out in the open world and non-PvP instanced areas.

As always, please report any suspicious behavior you encounter; Player reports are still our number one defense against malicious actors who cheat and exploit in World of Warcraft.

WoW 2 is going to be released this Saturday!

Play as the Walrus race, they will never be alliance or horde but a new faction called Natives.

With a 3rd faction added, warsong will now have and altar of the storms work where as you take your flag to the center of the map and if you can put in the ground (30 second timer) without dying - you win! if the enemy clicks your flag when you drop it, it gets reset back to base with a full minute cool down. The map will have fake floors where if you are a bot you will be attracted to the fake floor and fall for 5 minutes straight without dying. If you are in the falling state and the game ends you get nothing!

The gnomes have been split into their own third faction and being PvP flagged is mandatory as part of this mutiny.

As of April 2nd Warriors will be deleted from the game. They had their time. That time is past.
