"Create All" button frequently fails to work

Rather than crating all of a certain rank of item, it will stop every second create or thereabouts.

Not sure what the purpose of having a mass-create option is, if you just have to keep doing it manually.

It stops every time your input materials change. So if you run out of 2 star materials midway through create all and only have 1 star materials for any given material, it will stop creating so you can re-assess if you want to continue creating with inferior materials.

If you’re doing something akin to milling, scouring, prospecting, etc, then after the first create it will default to using the first stack in the ui. The materials show up in the ui in the order that they are in your bags - left to right top to bottom, with backpack first, then bag 1,2,3,4, reagent bag, and then finally the bank. Reorder the materials to keep that first stack topped off to avoid these crafts failing.

Basically, even though I have selected the blue stack to craft from, only this stack in red matters after the first craft.

I’ve only had it do this when manually selecting material ranks. Using the default lowest quality (use highest quality unchecked), it will automatically start consuming better materials as lower ones run out.

I have been having this issue with cooking. I will have hundreds of cinderbee belly in my inventory, and every 2nd craft after I hit “Create All” I get an error saying “Requires 5 Cinderbee Belly”

Then make sure the first stack that shows up in the ui is topped off.

This happens whenever the mats being used are in the warbank. If they’re on your person, this won’t happen.

I believe this is actually a technical limitation of the warbank and the crafting booths - the hand-off is too laggy and the crafts fail to allocate materials fast enough to chain cast in the case of “Craft All.” As if Crafting Speed wasn’t worthless enough already, it actually makes things worse. When crafting something that takes longer but draws mats from the warbank, the interrupt will not happen either. Speedy Craft + Warbank lag = this happens.

It’s been happening to all my crafters since day 1 of TWW.

Only if the first stack in the ui happens to be in the warbank, which happens if you don’t have anything on your person as all bags will show up first before the bank, reagent bank, and finally the warbank.

I put 100 ironclaw in the warbank and took 120 or so ironclaw on my person to the JC station, set up “Prospect All” on the warbank stack (100) which is listed below my on-person stack. 1-2 crafts in, it switches which stack it’s eating and starts eating my on-person stack.

If this is supposed to be a work-around it’s clunky and/or not working at all for me. But I’m not here to argue, just agreeing and signal boosting the OP that something is jank here.

Thats because after the first craft, it will switch to the first stack that shows up in the crafting ui. If all your reagents are in the warbank, then eventually that first stack will get used, and if it drops to <5 without being fully used, it will still remain the first stack in the order and thus stop further crafting.

This is super frustrating. I’m picking large stacks specifically to avoid having to hit single craft 100x but using create all runs into this issue.

Literally just move the larger stack so it will be first in order.

This isn’t completely true either. Sometimes it’s a ‘stack’ issue. I’ve seen it stop when it’s using the same tier of materials, too.

I’ve tried everything here and I’m still having the issue. I’ve even emptied out all of my food items (Sent them to an alt and put them in her inventory, not her bank or warbank) and tried making portioned steaks with just what was on my Evoker.

Every two casts it stopped, saying not enough items.

Except topping off the first stack in the UI apparently

But why should we have to fiddle around like that? Have we ever had to do that sort of thing working from our reagent storage?

They touted the warband bank as being a great tool to make materials available across our account but as no stage said: listen, you need to adjust how your store things because otherwise it doesn’t work right.

I’ve taken to keeping important materials in my individual character’s reagent storage again because I can’t be bothered trying to rearrange things every time it messes up. I foresee the warband bank just being there for things I don’t need to access all the time, so its less of a repeated nuisance. My gathering toons dump everything in there and then my individual crafters remove the stuff they want and put it into the reagent bank.

I guess thats a sort of negative positve - it means its less useful so I dont to spend more gold getting extra tabs.

You shouldn’t, and nobody is arguing that you should. That doesn’t change the fact that you have to though.

Still broken as of 11/6/2024.

The only way I can circumvent this is by putting all the big stacks in my profession bag and using them that way. :S

Another way I found to get around this issue is to resort my bags and that seems to fix it
