What if we banned the 65 hunter bots in every single zone you step into?
They all have a gray mainhand axe from starting zone, and an asian name as their hunter pet, and click to move.
I could hire my 8 year old nephew for $3 an hour to ban them if you want, since it’s blatantly obvious.
Just a thought, or just keep killing ur game, whatever works for you.
Theres always at least 5-6 bots in tanaris farming turtles.

Yup, tons of hunter/warr bots in Tanaris 24/7 with 2-3 runes and full ah boes…
I mean they’ve been reported countless times but they just let them keep going.
That used to be the primary way bots moved around the world, by enabling click to move. But not sure if the chinese industry bots use that or not.
Don’t worry. In three months when they do a ban wave, maybe they’ll get them. After they’ve already farmed and sold thousands and thousands of gold. And they’ll be right back to farming for a another few months when the next ban wave hits.
Until Blizz actually hires GMs to actively police the game and ban bots in real time…they’re clearly not taking the issue seriously. Blizz really does seem to want to make sure it’s profitable for bots to keep coming back.
Bots on OSRS don’t even have to move the mouse for the hardest thing in game.
I think its naïve to think they need that here.

And the next wave will be using Orc hunters.
And then the next will use more runes.
And then they’ll have basic questing logic.
The second a clear pattern emerges on how bots are being found and banned, the second the program evolves.
Didn’t the new OSRS owner basically say bots are fine?

In other words…hey, if you want to pay for 3 accounts 2 of them are bots, then no problem. Just don’t make an excessive amount of bot accounts!

But whatever, it’s still saying that making bot accounts are okay so long as you don’t make more than 2 or 3.
There was such a backlash they needed to walk it back and put out an update about how they deal with bots.

Would be their stance on it, at least we get concrete numbers and talking to. Instead of the most bland “we banned this many bots”
Not to mention a stream of them going around smacking bots in-game. Kekw.
There’s a level 40 rogue bot that has been running into the Alliance base in Arathi Highlands and dying for 4 days straight. It still isn’t banned.
That’s literally the update I said they made because of the backlash…

They came out because people have been asking about bots for time, and also another bot busting stream. The community actually cares about getting rid of them there, unlike here.
They deal with bots that actually inject code.
We got the same path walking/fly hacking bots here since ph1.
Blizzard bans in waves roughly every 30-90 days.
4 days is not out of the realm of possibility.
Bots haven’t been resolved in the last 20 years, why start now?
