Crazy that female undead look better in Classic

Female undead faces in Classic were just better. It never ceases to amaze me that Blizz thought their revamp was an improvement. All the new faces have a stupid, derpy smile. The straps are thin and crooked, the rotting spots are just random nubs stuck on the face. Like what even are they now? Did the people doing the rework even know?

You could give Classic female undead an actual skull face, and the bones matched the skin tone. That’s totally gone now. The current hair options still look like they have the polys of the 2004 hair. Even the new hair looks dated. Y’all missed the mark by miles with the female undead revamp and it’s been years.

Sometimes I play Classic just to remember how much better my undead female characters looked back then.

Nah i like the newer ones a bit more.

Female undead is one of the models that I suspect Blizzard cut corners on because it’s not popular like elves :roll_eyes:

The body/animations were an upgrade, but the faces have problems. Hell the “eye socket” feature is straight up broken on most of the faces and lets you see the back of the model instead of being a dark shadow like it is on the male faces.

They definitely tried to make them cute, and it didn’t really work. There’s only one face I use now.

They also took away the skeleton face in the revamp. I’m still salty about it

Oh and they changed how shoulder armor sits on the model. They’re pushed down and further apart than classic, which looks weird to me
