Crazy Noob Things You Used To Do

On my first character, I reached level 64 without ever touching Steady Shot. The tooltip said its cast time and damage were about the same as my auto-attack speed and damage, I assumed the move was completely useless.

And then I accidentally pressed it one time, immediately noticed that auto-shots could still fire off while casting Steady Shot, and realized I was a dumbass.

I have been playing Legion for three days and still can’t figure out the point of missions.

I used to stop and wait in every inn for like 5 minutes in order to get rest experience.

I feel attacked this was me …

Sit in Moonwells to regain mana and health.

I didn’t know the Deeprun tram existed so my nooby little behind swam from Westfall up to Wetlands and then died repeatedly to get to Ironforge.

Button clicking. I still do it but just for stuff like blood lust or profession stuff.

Used to use a Agi mail set on my ret pally to “hit things faster” ahahahha
I came from ragnarok and since it made since there…

I was a new player but it was still pretty dang stupid.

My first character was my hunter and I didn’t have a clue about the armor types I was wearing all kinds of random things of all armor types on my hunter Mail cloth or leather with intellect agility or whatever lol if it had higher stats I used it lol continued that up to like lvl 80 (I started in Cata) until my brother corrected me. God I felt like the biggest idiot in the world lol

Great idea, I should probably try using the num pad instead of using the left side since I’m having a hard time pressing 7, 8, 9, 0, - and = , thanks.

Lol I did that too! Clicked and cross handed. I wasn’t even that bad at it either, like I could still pull good numbers and do mechanics just fine! So I don’t judge.

I’m left-handed and was 11 years old when I started playing WoW (TBC). Back then I refused to learn how to use a mouse with my right hand and WASD with my left hand. What I would do is put the mouse on the left side of the keyboard, click all my spells with my mouse and move my character with the arrow keys using my right hand.

I wasn’t that good at the game back then.

I thought you got good gear from vendors and was the primary power progression lul.

I definitely don’t do this anymore, but…

When I first started playing in TBC I didn’t understand gear at all. I thought “higher armor amount, more protection” so I’d vendor all the greens I looted in favor of the white items sold by vendors because they had a higher armor number.

I started playing on bfa prepatch, used my free level 100 boost to create a mage, decided to go fire, and dying every time I pull more than one mob.

I lasted a week before I create a DH…

Keyboard turning! Took at least 2 expansions to learn that I should use the mouse for turning.

Started in mop. Didnt use dungeon finder for 3 months because I thought it was something special that weren’t supposed to use.

Impossible to do it now but when I rolled this guy at the start of TBC because my guild (I was an officer, btw) needed a healer for a 2nd Karazhan group, I healed for like two weeks with Rank 1 spells.

I didn’t know you could shift-click “Open All” on your mailbox until last month, so every day I would go through all of my bank toon’s auction postings, click open each piece of mail, click the item until it went to my inventory, and move on. It took about 15 minutes -_-

I think I made it to level 30 something before I realized there was something called quests…

The 25 quest cap forces me to do this at times.

I did the same thing running humans and gnomes to the NE starting zone. I don’t think I knew about the tram until wrath…
