Hey all, as the title says.
I’ve gone through every thread I can find, every troubleshooting step my technician brain can come up with, and heavily contemplated ritual sacrifice but passed on the animal cruelty.
Today, I gave up and tried a factory reset. After the several hour process I got to set a new record for how long WoW runs before slapping me with the same Access_Violation I know and loath.
Someone hit me with something I missed, because it’s not just WoW anymore, it’s EVERY game and this computer is less than 2 years old.
Are you using one of the Intel 13th or 14th gen CPUs?
Yeah, and I’ve gone through all the steps I can find, updated the BIOS, swapped out RAM if that was an issue, ran Intel diagnostics (which have come back clean). It’s kinda frustrating that this is about to be my “retreat into the woods because technology hates me” arc, lol.
Did you try underclocking? Core speeds should be adjusted in pairs.
Maybe I’ve just been doing it wrong, could I get a link to a reliable guide on that?
