Crashing, freezing, and stuttering after 8.3 [Intel GPUs]

No.

I would buy this if it were being applied to the minor issues happening right now: mailing, looting etc. But, no - the issues we’re experiencing now are preventing us from playing the patch, this is the first time that tens of thousands of the player base are unable to delve into the patch and play the new features. It’s quite simply disastrous, and I understand that Blizzard staff aren’t to blame when you bring forth the fact that Activision made sweeping staff cuts - even with this fact, it doesn’t solve the issue.

Why pop the pimple without cleaning the skin. Blizzard needs to address technical managerial issues to prevent something on this scale from ever happening again. We have raid teams to join, mythic+ to do, visions to play before the raid goes live, we are now weeks behind - this is not on.

Do you guys have your graphics on lowest settings? I have not crashed in 2 hours now.

Update with the window mode. Game just crashed as soon as I enter vail of eternal blossom and it was in the middle of my daily vision :frowning: it is what is tho.
Please blizz, solution! We need!!!

Just tried the window mode, I don’t receive a better game as others do tho… I got around 70 fps in fullscreen with around 50 in combat, but when I switch to window mode with same setting it drops to 40 and around 20-30 in combat… I ran 2 island and my computer crushes in the second one, similar to fullscreen mode. Window mode only gives me more lags

have everything at low, it is fine until more people come around me. Was killing a rare and it froze bc others joined.

Not sure if people have being reading, but Blizzard has a FIX. They just are not sure when they will apply it. Don’t ask me why, you would think you would just put it out now.

They may have a fix, but they need to verify and test the fix. Furthermore, people in the Windows Tech Support forums are reporting the same/similar issues. Those fixes also require verification and testing.

Adding a +1 to this.

No addons enabled. MacBook Pro 2019 13" model (MacBookPro15,2, i5 2.4ghz, 8G mem, Iris Plus 655). No performance issues leading up to these events, no overheating, OS up to date, all that jazz.

Adding yet another. MacBook 13”
Mac OS X. 8.3 is crashing my computer in multiple zones of new content. In and out of instances, in and out of combat. The only consistency is that it’s new content. No problems the day before the patch.
Truly disappointing.

I’m not sure how they would go through and verify, but when all of this is resolved I think blizz should attach a ticket link to this forum so we can communicate where and when we got disconnected, and the items that we lost in the process. The only important thing I lost was my daily vision in the vale of eternal blossom. Visions through the chamber of heart have been okay, but I only go straight to the main objective. Luckily have not crashed during those. However, I tried to run a Mythic+ with my guild…instant crash on the first pull. After that I refuse to join any mythic+, dungeon, or raid with my guildies because it’s just too embarrassing at this point :frowning:

Also having problems with my Mac crashing, freezing and alll of the above. It’s not playable. Hope this gets fixed soon…

Have you run any high intensity content like dungeons or raids with lots of mobs?

The end user is QA now. Wouldn’t be surprised if there is a daily soon that requires us to turn in a bug report for rep.

400 comments and still no fix. Really hoping this gets resolved soon!

Yes, been doing battlegrounds and ran 2 mythics, however in the past 3 hours? maybe I did crash 2 times. But compared to earlier it is much more playable. I was completely unable to even enter a mythic or battleground before adjusting all these graphics settings. Windowed mode made the biggest difference it seems.

it made mine worse lol

my whole macbook crashes within 2 mins of logging into the game, no matter where i am or what im doing in game. It is unplayable.

Yeah other people have said that. It seems to either make it much better, or much worse. Not really sure why that would be. Do you have other graphics on low overall (1) and

texture resolution: low
texture filtering: bilinear
projected textures: disabled

I can still do world quests freezes a little in new content but can’t do dungeons visions or raids
