Why as soon as I log into wow and select a toon when I get into the game it crashes? This wasn’t an issue until today. I have tried repairing the game that didn’t fix it. My graphics cards, etc are up to date. I can’t find an answer anywhere.

Are you running a bunch of addons designed for the previous patch?
Having a similar problem here.
I log in and the game crashes after like 10-15 seconds. Music still plays for some time, till Windows asks me to close the game.
I updated my graphic cards, tried repairing the game, disabled all addons, and still happens.
Only time I could actually play was when I disabled all the 5 checkboxes in the bottom of the “Graphics” tab in Options. But that causes me to have a worse graphic performance, as well as a messed up UI.
Is there any fix in sight?
I am having the same issue. When I log into one of my alts, it is like he is frozen and falling and then the system says I am disconnected. It is only one alt and it started happening after the patch from the other day.

I have the same issue. Starts to log in and then crashes.Started on Wednesday ( I wasn’t able to play on Tuesday after patch).
- Repaired install
- Reinstalled and scrubbed/deleted all Wow related folder.
- Uninstalled and disabled addons - still crashes
- Updated windows and graphoncs card etc.
- Can run other games on steam etc without issues.

I have had extreme lag at various points in both undermine and Dornogal; Like upwards of a minute or more just staring at my screen and at times just crashing while loading between zones; This occasionally happened when I was transitting the coreway during the last season but since the patch the frequency of the game just turning into a Power point slideshow has been… much more pronounced.
While I am running an older lap top that isn’t in the greatest shape, the drop in performance has been severe to the point of being unplayable.
it isnt just the new expansion either, i made a new alt on a dead server (low pop) and cant even level up becuase the lag in stormwind/elwynn forest/westfall is as bad as it is in undermine, the crashes are the same in every zone i go to with any character, 2 minutes of nothing happening, buttons not working when i click them and then game goes bye bye, and if theres any enemies nearby i come back to a dead toon. this didnt happen on tuesday, only after the 7-8am wednesday update.

I’m Crashing in the middle of arena and solo shuffle and its so frustrating!
I am suddenly getting this bug as well. It specifically is when I load into a toon, when the game loads it’s the UI, my toon falling in a blue void. Like the world never bothered to load.
