Hi there. So I understand this is quite the bothersome for some people. I’d like to get this solved for cata. I’m frequently getting disconnects/crashed while playing wow classic and have been for some time now. I’ve tried disabling addons, deleting WTF/cache etc, uninstalling/reinstalling client, but nothing seems to work.
The error reads "Access violation. The memory cannot be “read”.

That error is super generic, so it’s difficult to troubleshoot.
There are a few things that might be causing it:
The drive is partitioned, which might be causing issues for the pagefile.
Audio drivers are crashing in the background, which could cause the client to crash.
Corsair iCUE is also reporting a crash, so it could be interfering with the client.
It’s worth noting that I get this white box since the latest patch. I am getting same access violation crash on retail. I have two different crashes one is a drivers crash and this one you have happened to me 3 times today
That would be a third-party app. Either an addon or some app you have installed that uses an overlay (like iCUE).
