Crash when running two wow instances

This is probably fairly unique to me, but figured I would ask and see if anyone else has had this happen.

Retail Wow. I have two wow accounts, under the same bnet account. Often I play them both simultaneously. I use the bnet client, select the one account from the drop down and hit play, select a character and log in. I then return to the bnet client and select the other account from the drop down, hit play, it launches a second instance of wow, I select a character and log in. I play in windowed mode and resize the two wow windows to see them both and click between them.

Since the 11.0 patch, I have been having an issue where the second launched wow instance will crash after ~20 minutes. Only this second wow crashes, the first wow instance I ran is fine and doesn’t seem to have any issues. I can run it by itself for hours. If I launch that second instance of wow again, it will crash again after ~20 min or so.

Mac Studio M1 Max
64GB ram
Sonoma 14.5

The crash report doesn’t tell me much. I was thinking some sort of memory leak but why would that affect only the second running instance of wow?

I have the same problem under Windows 11. Not always as long as 20 minutes. sometimes much longer. I think it only started happening with The War Within. But, I run two fullscreen instances, switching between them, mostly doing crafting between alts on my two accounts. If I stay in the second initiated instance, the first one might crash after a while, though I think I log out of one before one of them crashes sometimes. Recently, it seems to happen sooner. I don’t see any response to this here - has it been fixed for you?
