Crash restoring minimized window on DX12

Windows 7 64-bit
Nvidia 1070ti on 425.31 driver (current version)
Windowed mode

Since 8.1.5 my game will crash 100% of the time if I minimize the window, then click the taskbar button to restore it or alt-tab back to it. This always happens when using DirectX 12 option and never happens if I switch back to DirectX 11. It happens whether I’m on the login screen or logged into a character. I’m not using any kind of overlay. This happens when running nothing but the Battle .net client and Wow.

I don’t seem to be having the persistent lag or framerate issues that some others are seeing.

I’d prefer to play with DX12 since I get almost a 10 fps increase over DX11. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? If I’m careful it doesn’t cause a problem, but if I’m not careful it means a crash during raid :frowning:

We are investigating the Nvidia DX12 issues and hopefully this will be sorted out as soon as possible.
