I avoided my family and friends (imaginary included), but I was able to level about 7 alts to 120 and get them through the Warfront. Next is a troll Monk.
Korrak’s is about the only good thing happening in WoW.

What is this Korraks thing I see people keep mentioning?
Korrak’s Revenge, the anniversary AV PVP event. It’s queueable from the PVP menu.
It’s a really good way to level alts & also you get a mount by earning badges.
Running through Burning Crusade content this morning and it struck me…
Blizzard doesn’t design settlements along RTS lines any longer. All the settlements in Outland look like they could exist in the RTS games. I can’t remember when that design philosophy changed, but outside our Garrisons in WoD I can’t remember the last time I saw a questing hub or faction outpost and thought “Yeah, I could see that in the RTS series”.
i like big fancy towns honestly, makes them feel more like actual towns or forts
they really struggle with making them easy to navigate though
I miss our Garrisons.
Bring them back as a thing not tied to any single expansion, Blizzard. It isn’t hard. Let us make our own little towns and villages and populate them with our pick of npcs.
I’m still trying to fill out my Garrison’s follower list with nothing but Hunters.
I unironically loved garrisons as well. I liked building my own Lil’ Stormwind for my human warrior and Lil’ Orgrimmar for my orc warrior and populating them with only things that made sense for them to be leading or need for their war effort. It was like the one piece of “single player” content where we are THE Player that I actually liked.
I actually really liked a lot of WoD right up until “Draenor is free.” I liked the stranger in a strange land thing, I liked the garrison campaign, I liked building my garrison and commanding armies and ships. I actually liked Ashran until the super pre-mades became a thing.
Then they followed it up with Legion and everything seemed like it was on a meteoric rise and then fart sounds here’s Battle for Azeroth - the nobody gets to feel good expansion that we’re following up beating Space Satan with.
Yeah the garrisons were good and I still get them on alts. The Alliance garrison just rules.
Draenor had some lovely zones.
Well, except for Frostfire. And maybe Gorgrond.
And I guess Terokk was kind of average.
And Hellfire Peninsula, obviously, was just more demon garbage.
And Nagrand looked like it always did.
Draenor had a lovely zone.
Still bugs me we had no obvious analog to the Netherstorm.
The analog to the Netherstorm was the empty void we felt inside ourselves at the bleak realization that this cycle of regurgitated content and grinds was going to be what WoW was from now on.
wod was a mega dumb expansion but at least we got this cute scene of a draenei adventurer explaining to a little girl what pugs are
There are several cute npc interactions in Elodor so go hang out there if you are a draenei and want to feel happy
and then feel bitter because BfA retconned Draenor into being inaccessible and basically deleted all that cool Draenei stuff from the universe in order to bring more orcs into the setting
BfA can’t settle with just being a bad expansion on its own it needed to go back and make older expansions worse too
I really think BfA will go down as the worst expansion in WoW history. The only saving grace I thought was the Drustvar zone. That was hands down the best zone I have ever done in WoW.
Draenor not being accessible anymore in lore is the second most anger inducing thing to me.
listen nogroc
I’m not trying to be hard on you or anything
but is that hat just part of your mog now or what
Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewhyhasblizzardnotupdatedmypfpyet
But yes I hate just deleting entire planets from the setting.
So I’m frustrated that we’re going to the shadowlands next because I can’t see any way for that expansion to end other than us restoring the barrier between life and death and closing off the shadowlands to the living once more.
I might like the races of the Shadowlands! I don’t want to get interested in them if they’re just going to be deleted from the setting at the end of the expansion!
I honestly hope they use yrel as an atnag solely so I can go back to draenor
Slight correction but it is spelled “protag”
