I know we’ve already harped on Azerite not being that impressive before, but it was really neat how the Azerite War Machine, a weapon of such impossible horror that it caused the war to skip a beat, was destroyed by Anduin and his pointy stick.

Agreed, it absolutely is. As long as Anduin is on the Alliance, and the writers are so clearly biased towards his story and needs, that bleeds over to some forms of Alliance bias.
Perhaps WoW has numbed me to anything but the worst butbI thoroughly enjoyed Lyse. She never got on my nerves

Let me tell you a god damn story.
A few months back i left my nintendo switch in the car and it started hailing (I live in florida.) This does not happen all this often.
I wait a bit and it stops so i go grab my switch case out of the car as i shut the door case slung around my neck it starts up again
A hail ball about the size of a baseball nails me right on the shoulder every other hunk of hail is tiny but just this one giant hunk zeros in on my shoulder
A sharp surge of pain followed by numbness as my arm just goes limp noodle.

I still absolutely love that the big reveal for how azerite is changing the very face of warfare between the Alliance and Horde was Sylvanas rolling out a slightly bigger tank, and then it just becomes pretty gunpowder kegs for the rest of the expansion.

Just want to say I hope they do a refresh of the team. With all their reorgs they ought to put someone new in Danuser’s seat. Maybe dial back the “pure cringe” JUST A LITTLE BIT ffs.

That one in particular seems a bit hypocritical when you consider in that very same battle they have Jaina pimp in with arcane cannon blasts and blight clearing waves of frost.
Granted she never used that ship again after but that’s aside the point.
Addendum: After going through this I feel it prudent to mention that I wrote this before reading through all the recent posts.

Blight, Mana Bombs, Azerite bombs, The Catapults That Shoot Across An Ocean And Burn Entire Tree But Only If The Current Warchief Gets Her Feelings Hurt Otherwise They’re Just Regular Catapults…
