Crafting Orders Cross Faction?

Why can’t we do orders cross faction if the Horde and Alliance are working together now? Was just curious because I can’t send an order to a friend who is leveled up on a crafting Item I wanted to put in for. Does Blizz have plans to change this?

you can cross faction orders, however you need to be on one of the connected realms that is connected to your server.

for example, my toons are on dreadmaul, so i can craft order to frostmourne jubei’thos thaurassian and like 2 others but i cant craft order to barthilas / other oce servers even if they are same faction as me

you can do orders for people not on your connected realms if you are in their guild or they are in yours tho via guild orders

Someone beat me to it but I was going to say the easiest way to do that is if they are in your guild.

Can a horde and ally from different servers be in the same guild?

Yes they can.

My alliance on MG and horde on WrA are all in my personal guild.

yea, open world content and dungeon finder random dungs / LFR cant be queued cross faction atm but nothing is stopping you from having them in the same guild

my pally is in a full alliance guild that i raid with now

Yes, cross-realm can, as noted. It really stinks when someone you’ve known for years has characters on a waaaay different realm and one of you wants to help the other out. =/

It would be very neat if crafting orders were warbound until equip, that would solve a whole lot of issues here. Or add a special material to make them so, I would pay extra / jump through an extra hoop or two to get that result.

If you have cross faction alts you want in your personal guild, there are a few hoops to jump through.

Both do need to be in the same community, and the guild has to be flagged as cross-faction.

I wish they were cross realm so I can make stuff on my other toon on other servers
