Crafting Order UI Bug Miscalculated Skill Requirement

There appears to be sometimes an issue where the ui miscalculates the required skill for the craft. Multiple times now I have received personal orders where the skill requirement is suddenly way higher than it was before the patch.

I have reasoned out that this appears to be because the added difficulty to the order is not being calculated correctly in the ui. For example, when adding a concentrated primal infusion for +50 difficulty over a primal infusion (+30 difficulty). Instead of having the required skill rise by 20 it rises by 50 on top of the existing increases. Hence increasing the skill requirement by 80 instead of 50.

I’ve had to ask customers to lower the minimum rank out of trust and it works as expected but visually it looks really bad. I proc inspiration and it says the item is R4 but the customer received the R5 item because of my proc as before the patch.

This seems to be intermittent as I only come across it every couple of orders but I have seen it come from change of missive, infusion and embellishment.

Blizzard small indie studio… again more BUGS then DRAGONS in this xpac.
You guys should be embarrassed of the crap you put out.

This is indeed a bug, one of the main lariat crafters on my realm i do 20 to 50 crafts a day and since the patch i keep running into this where it visually drops it to a RANK 3 instead of RANK4 with a proc to 5.

Its a visual bug and it wont let you craft if the order is set to rank 4 as the system things its gonna be a rank 3 while it still is a RANK4 with a RANK5 proc, tested this with several people by asking them to set it to 3.

Fire your whole QA department and get your heads out of your asses, amateurs.

Its like we beta testing this garbage for you while paying full price.

Glad to have confirmation of the issue. It’s pretty broken and can lead to spending more points in your specs than you actually need to complete crafts. The system is confusing enough to also try to explain why the order needs to be lowered to R3.

Nothing in notes for this patch about it.

Blizzard when you getting your heads out of your asses and fix your pile of garbage we beta testing for you.

Even when we report this nothing gets done, does the QA department even work, or are they all to bussy practicing the art of harassing people at work/events?

Noticing the same thing today with recrafts only from what I can tell. They are just adding a phantom 30 difficulty to the recipe.

Additionally the stages of the crafting orders are not always advancing. I.E. You press start order and it doesn’t react. I found If i closed the window and re-opened it, the order opens in the correct screen. It is annoying though.

Stumbled into this problem today. Guild mate wanted a recraft from 405 to 418 - usually no problem for me, but the required skill was suddenly 450 instead of… 370?
Bonus requirements from the Concentrated Infusion, stat missive + embellishment should’ve been +90, but it viewed +170. At this rate the UI told me that I could just craft it at rank 3.

Been noticing this and it’s pretty much killed the ability to advertise at all. I suddenly can’t guarantee full missive / embel / infusion 4* weapons anymore despite having literally everything maxed. Recrafting is also completely broken and isn’t giving any bonus skill on the first initial recraft.

I generally am willing to recraft using my own mats most of the time but I can’t even do that anymore because people assume that I’m scamming them when they set 4* minimum requirement that I literally can no longer hit without wasting an insight while using rank 2 alloys.

Safety Smithing is 100% pure resourcefulness nothing else. It’s very frustrating to no longer be able to craft things that I was quite literally crafting a month ago.
