Crafting Order - Quest

Can we get a weekly quest from a little old lady NPC that can’t make it to the public order NPCs.

She wants you to place a public order for her, she supplies the mats (all 1 star junk) and you bring her the item.

Or random adventuring NPC’s around the world that are too busy to go to town and have asked you to drop by for them.

I feel like this would put a bit more life into the crafting order market and teach players how to use it at the same time.

Any other ideas to increase activity in the Public Order market?

set min rank of items desired has been a common request.

This really needs to be implemented.

Just dropped 50k of mats (all highest possible quality) plus a spark and put my order in.

Get my order finished and it’s not even max rank. Crafter must have been low skilled.

Frustrating!

Having BoEs listable would be nice too.

On the bright side, recrafting is rather cheap and I read that items “remember” what quality resources you use while crafting and that effects future results.

Blame Blizzard for basically requiring crafting orders to gain points in the tree. It’s almost impossible to gain points, outside of 1st time crafts and the 2 weekly quests.

The system could have been cool, but the way it was implemented is broken.

What would you add to help fix the issue?

They could do a better job explaining it in-game. I still dont understand the system.

luckily for you, it’s not terrible to recraft but yes, that’s the concern.

for tools, pets, etc it doesn’t matter but for armor and weapons, quality matters.

that’s why i specialized in everything except wearable gear. I figured other more dedicated crafters will get that covered.

For 2 and 3-star items, sure, but depending on the item, you can’t get mad at a 4-star. A lot of things are actually impossible to guarantee a 5-star craft with. Illustrious Insight gets around some of it, but when you start factoring in fully customized items and Primal Infusions, you need that Inspiration proc.

That’s likely the reason some people have added their proc rates to their advertising.

Yea, there’s a quest to fulfill one but no quest to list one.

They need to add something in to explain it.

If you want a min rank there needs to be a min commission.

you can set your min comission yourself and not take orders below it.

the system is set up so desperate people accept orders from cheap people - you can set the min yourself as well by making a personal order.

I fulfill public orders for cheap if I want the potential skillup or the quest completed.

Personal orders on the other hand I like to see a larger tip.

And on the flip side, I throw public orders up for cheap and tip large for personal orders.

If public orders allowed quality to be selected, I’d tip way higher.

I think it would be a really really bad idea to allow a min to be set on public orders - it is almost game breaking
