Crafting Order placed before System reset, dissapeared

i actually got my lariat back after it bugged just like this. except, whenever i sent it back out for a recraft, the crafters (multiple different ones) told me it “bugged” somehow and made them reload. each time it did that, it was stuck until the order expired. just now i tried to equip the item and log out, and upon logging back in, it was just gone. i have the mats for the recraft still, but my lariat is gone. not a visual bug either since i can’t choose it for a recraft, it’s just disappeared. blizzard plssssssssssssssss

I’m at the 3rd phase of grief, bargaining. I just want the 2 Sparks of Ingenuity back, they can keep the 15k and concentrated primal infusion.

Bump for this 100+ post thread that is clearly affecting a bunch of players that they still won’t even acknowledge exists. This is terrible.

No need to say it anymore, I am tired about Blizzard’s attitude towards customers. Unsub now. I’m also closing the ticket.

I’ve honestly given up hope of getting my items back at this point. It’s been nearly a week since my crafting order messed up. All I’ve gotten on my tickets are responses that were unhelpful (an automated “check the forums” response, and then a GM telling me my items were in my mailbox and they weren’t). I don’t think Blizzard is going to address this

Guys! I got a response on my ticket just now. Blizzard is investigating the issue and listing accounts that are effected. Don’t ditch your tickets.

" We are currently investigating this ongoing issue with recrafting orders. but sadly we’re not sending back materials are present time as the Order should still be in the system and hopefully recoverable.

For now we need to wait for a further decision on how to assist in these cases, I have added your account as part of this and you should be contacted when we know more (which is likely to be in a couple of days as there will be more people in to check after the weekend)."

Still waiting. I got a response saying its been forwarded to someone else and “may take some time”.

They know about this thread lmao! Can’t say how i know. we can’t discuss account action.

I can’t fathom how they can make a case for why its literally been over a week now since our stuff went missing, short of truly just not wanting to, or possibly not being able(??) to put any people on it.

Not once have i seen anyone report anything except hollow responses from Blizz, and seemingly a bunch of “passing the buck” down the line.

Their language in the various accounts of GM responses provided by the above posters is vastly different person to person. Makes me feel like they’re treading water, refusing to acknowledge there is an issue as a group.

Give us some legit solutions please, at least a sticky…
This bug still exists and still publicly not addressed…

Lost a nice 418 Primal Molten Longsword and my reply to my ticket was we will let you know when we fix it but cannot help you in any way right now. So pretty much not getting our stuff back.

My thing is are they going to finally give us our mats back when we don’t need them any more? lol. Like after next week i wont even need the 2 sparks.

You create an elaborate crafting system with no back up system? or recovery tools? weird.

Anyone think about how many others are probably dealing with this and either don’t realize/care their mats are gone, or who might just not be posting here???

Guaranteed theres at least 2 or 3 times as many people actually having this problem than there are individual posters here.

I wish i could blatanly ignore problems at my work and just tell people I’ve passed the buck, and continue to rake in cash with some lip service…“yeah sorry theres six planks missing from the middle of your living room, i lost the boards, and have no way to find them. Yes, theyre sitting in the other room. But I’ve asked someone else to do that so, PAY ME” - yah, im sure thatd go over well…

Bump. It’s been 8 days since I opened my initial ticket and still waiting for my monk to get his Lariat, Primal Infusion and crafting mats back. AAA game developer.

Bumping for visibility and for the fact that 100s of us are STILL WAITING FOR OUR STUFF!
Lol it kinda makes me laugh because I know they don’t care…we dont even own our characters or anything, its all in the TOS; we pay for maintenance and for “bug fixes” and to have access to blizz servers.
So we are literally paying for this delay with our sub money. Nothing in the TOS guarantees us any solutions or even that they have to fix literally anything.

Talk about being taken advantage of.

Literally no recourse on our parts.

Must be nice to be blizz; to both be able to do this, and to feel good enough about it to delay indefinitely.

Heres the GM response to my IRL frien who crafted my lariat:

“To be transparent, this issue has been confirmed by our teams. There was a slight hiccup earlier in the week causing these issues. Please understand that the crafting order system is complicated, so support doesn’t have the tools to assist further. With that said, I reached out to our teams and have added this as part of the investigation. I would keep a lookout in your mail for updates.”

“I’ve taken a look into this and see that you’ve crafted a few of these recently. However due to the way these appear in the logs, I can’t see who they were made for. Please have the other player get in touch with us so we can see it from their side, and we’ll be happy to do what we can for this. =)”

Go ahead and tell me again how blizz has any good excuse for not giving us our stuff back.

I got a similar “we’ll put you on a list, keep an eye on your mail” response a few days ago. About noon today, I had mail in my mailbox from Blizzard support, and attached to it was all the materials I had lost when my crafting order glitched out, including my spark. I thought my stuff was gone for sure.

Happened to a friend this week - same issue, order gone, mats gone etc. He’s put a ticket in and just escalated it as the reply was ‘less than helpful’.

Well an end to this saga 9 days after it began, all still without an official acknowledgement.
Just got my mats back in my mail.
I wish i could say it was nothing but its sure frustrating.
No word on whether my crafter friend got any mats back, they recrafted repeatedly for me to get me max quality…using their own mats…

Adding to this thread as I’ve been dealing with the same issue since 10.0.5 released. First ticket seemed to be aware that there was a general crafting order issue and stated my mats would be restored.

To date, I have only received the mats that I could get from the AH, I did not receive any of the primal chaos, primal infusions or spark.

I re-opened my ticket saying there is still an error but the specialist GM says I used to spark they gave me on a crafting order (this is false as my mail never contained a spark, i did not receive a spark in game until killing a rare a few days later).

I re-opened the ticket again showing that i have completed the 5 quests for 5 sparks and that looting the rare gave me a 6th, but I only have 5 crafted pieces. I’ve asked the GM to confirm this as it should be obvious that I don’t have a spark in my bags/bank and that my deleted items shows no crafted items that can be restored.

Pretty frustrating that simple checks like these aren’t being done, the fact that I was told I “received” the lost spark immediately ticketed saying my spark is missing (and didnt craft another item until I received a random one from a rare) shows that the ticket isn’t being looked at with a basic level of care.
