The gear is repaired to full. There is no typo in the crafter’s name. I am able to create orders for other items. I have tried everything bought and resold every material even vendored my old bow and tried to buy a new one. Cleared cache, rebooted my client and PC, waited days and days no support response (other than automated nonsense that feels somewhat insulting each time)
The support articles on this topic are filled with false information so I’m creating this to confirm for people searching that yes this game-breaking bug exists and no it is not your fault. There is no way to get around the bug even if you are willing to recraft a new item from scratch you will never be able to create this item. Support turnaround time 15 days. It has made my main unplayable so you are not alone. I have no solution for you and Blizzard doesn’t seem to either but this article is to confirm that you are sane and the issue is widespread and there is no solution in any of the associated articles.
