Idk if this is actually a bug or not, but it’s really irritating that this changed recently.
Several weeks ago, I was doing Leatherworking stuff and when I opened and closed my crafting menu, it reopened to the last expansion I had been working on. Now, it switches back to Shadowlands every time I open it–which is infuriating when I’m trying to level classic blacksmithing and open and close it two or three times a minute.
Is this new intended behavior, or a bug that needs fixed?
EDIT:: Also, while I’m here, it’s absurd that I have to mouse over my bar to find out what my crafting level is. Either make it permanent, or tell me where the ‘crafting level always on’ button is. Wth is this profession nonsense, even.

Agreed, this is very annoying and I hope it can be changed.
yes it is very annoying not to mention why oh why did they make the menu so HUGE, we really don’t need it THAT big, or wide. it was fine the way it was to be honest though I do like the addition slot to put the fishing pole and such
Add to this: Choosing a specific count to make of a potion is broken. I selected the number 20 to make but it automatically changed back to ONE. So now I either have to make all or one.
Bliz, you need to fix these messes you create…or make it so that these options cannot be broken automatically.
Supposedly, Dragonflight crafting will use the extra space. I expect that there will still be entirely too much blank space, but this is what I’m told.
well then that makes sense, but sadly I am still upset about the mechagnomes loosing their specialty of being a personal crafting station
I can suggest a workaround. Track a recipe from the expansion you’re working on and when you click the tracked item (below your tracked quests) it will open to the correct expansion.

But not to the selected recipe, unfortunately.
I agree, though, it’s the only woorkaround i’ve found so far.
If you click the tracking a second time, it will go to that recipe.
