What would it take to have the Traveler’s Tundra Mammoth update the crafting reagents to stay abreast with whatever expansion is current?

Upgrade? Lol, they’ll sell you a NEW mount. For the low, low price of 8 million gold!
I wouldn’t mind doing a quest to upgrade it.
So much content jumps off a cliff once a new xpack releases. It wold be nice to have the mammoth stay current since everyone who has one likely uses it at least daily.

I’d even pay to upgrade it, but a quest to go back to Pandaria and recruit new vendors would be fun. Or rescue Birdhat and friend and upgrade them in the process.
Old Blizz might have done that. But with things as they are now? There’s no way they’ll do something that cool when they can sell a new mount that does that for a ridiculous sum of gold or in the cash shop.

TBH a new low-end Mammoth that has repair + up to date food/water/trade goods would be pretty baller.
Or maybe an item upgrader? Would be kinda niche, but still pretty useful in raids.
Add a new mount for absurd amounts of gold, but add a feature where we can recruit any two vendors or service NPCs we like to ride along with us.
