Why does crafting bulk just randomly stop? Crafting lots of any item is super boring, so I usually queue them up and watch a movie or go do something else, with DF prepatch, it just randomly stops from time to time. Is this intentional to make it super awful to make stuff? Or there some reason for this change? It is a really big downgrade in quality of life in the professions.
Is it stopping when you get flagged as AFK & sit down?
Sometimes I craft 1 and it stops, sometimes it’ll do up to 40 before stopping, it is random as far as I can tell. When I kick off a batch sometimes when I mouse out of wow and to the 2nd monitor it stops, sometimes it doesn’t. I thought maybe it was an addon conflict of some sort, but I have no idea. Am I the only one experiencing this?
*UPDATE (alliance) 11/23 - It does appear that after the patch this morning, this situation with bulk crafting is much improved, I’ve only had it stop a couple times so far. It used to stop frequently enough to be nearly worthless. Now it is almost back to “normal” pre patch behavior.
*UPDATE (horde) 11/23 - doing pilgrim cooking, crafting 4 days worth at a time, batches of 80, had to /reload because the bulk craft didn’t work at all only singles. 5 batches of 80 stopped, one was completely successful. Here are the successful crafts before stoppage: 16/80, 33/80, 43/80, 60/80, 79/80. So it seems fairly reproducible, if this is how it was behave when DF goes live and this is every crafters experience, I imagine there will be a lot of inconvenienced fairly upset players
11/25 - it appears that crafting works as it should have all along. I’ve done all the normal activities watching shows, tabbing out, setting a specific amount, crafting all… it all seems to complete as expected now, so it appears they have fixed this.
