I feel like most of the gear is going to get replaced so fast that it won’t really matter that much lol.
681 crafted won’t get replaced right away.
By gloves you mean whichever tier set slot has bad stats for your spec?
You don’t replace your crafted gear though, you recraft it with season 3 sparks? Or so I thought anyway.

I didn’t realize you can put embellishments on shoulders and legs.
Why those specifically though? Like if the tier helmet is the piece with the worst stats, why wouldn’t you craft a helmet with perfect stats and use the other 4 tier slots?

Whichever slots will take the embellishments.
As far as I’m aware, all crafted armor slots take the same embellishments. Like actual armor (cloth, leather, mail, plate), not jewelry and such of course.
Correct. All slots accept embellishments. There’s just two limiting factors. You can only have 2 embellishments, and some embellishments only works on select slots, like Jewelcrafting has its own range of completely useless embellishments

They all do, if you wanna min max you see which of the tier slots is worst secondaries. That’s your crafted.
I usually just take any 4 tier I get first so I craft my embellishment onto a foot or bracer… would be cloak but ya know
