I am talking about crafting orders using other players professions so not my own profession sorry did not clarify that. For example I crafted a staff using 2 spark of Omens and 90 Gilded Crest. The staff I accidentally crafted has agility the one I need has intellect they both have the same model and same mats used to craft. There is no point in giving the option to craft something that is completely useless to the player. Remember the staff has the same mats and model. I am referring to Vagabond’s Careful Crutch and Vagabond’s Bounding Baton it is also Bind On Pickup.
My advice still stands u need to post where feed back will be passed on professio s or ingame suggestion features. Think of the cs forums as a blackhole for feedback or suggestions

I’d refrain from calling the insight of others useless, but also there’s not much point to this thread. The best place for feedback would be GD, where it sees the most people, or professions where you’ve already posted. I think this thread has outlived its usefulness.

I disagree that the option should be outright disabled as you’re requesting a situation where players are limited in agency, however there are improvements which could be made to the item or interface. This is really a UX problem and not one I’d lay at the GMs’ or developers’ feet. There are always limits to research and edge cases exist.
Anyway, if you have a concrete suggestion – the Professions forum had been mentioned before.

I can understand that, but the gameplay forum is pretty dead. You’ll get less non-useful feedback in the gameplay>professions area, but you will get less feedback overall as well compared to GD.

True, I meant from other posters. You’ll get more discussion and perspectives in GD
And therein lies the solution: players need to pay attention, ESPECIALLY to the “Are You Sure?” boxes, and take ownership of their mistakes. GM’s are not here to fix your mistakes. Your choices matter, and the choice of clicking too fast and not paying attention has consequences.

Yeah u will also get the direct oposite.
because people collect tmogs (even if items have the same look there can be multiple just with different names - people still collect every name to check the box off on their lists) and there are a large amount of people that just craft base level spark crafts once you have more than you need for your main kit. May as well use it on something and with tmog unlocked account wide from any toon now, makes sense why anyone can craft anything
